as the move draws nigh, i’m becoming increasingly consumed by logistics. its ridiculous how scattered assed yoru life can become and still avoid things like homelessness, insanity, disease and bankruptcy. that’s a weird word to spell, btw.
my interview went pretty well and the fact that i actually had a PENTHOUSE at my hotel showed good signs that the rest of the visit was going to be pretty fucking awesome. and it was…
i returned from my interview with CP+B completely amazed that there are companies that exist like that. the closest thing i can think of to describe the culture and environment there is to make mention of google’s offices in california. at any given time in the main area of the CP+B office you will see people gliding through on skateboards, riding bikes or playing with their dogs [who, btw, have company health insurance]. they have their own ATM, the world’s smallest taxidermied elephant [previously owned by PT barnum during its more active years] and probably someo fthe happiest employees you will ever meet. i went through a series of interviews from my would-be peers to the executive producer totaling 6 in all. while i have nearly lost my mind in the last 24 hours waiting to hear back from them, i am hoping strong that i have a good chance of getting to return as an employee. i was told that just being flown up there says much about my work considering they receive stacks of resumes on a daily basis.
on top of that, just being in colorado for the short time i was there sent me mind reeling. in my head, i’m already gone.
